HELLO!

My name is Amanda Nelson. I graduated from Dakota State University in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in K-8 Elementary and K-12 Special Education with a minor in Reading and an Educational Technology endorsement. This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at Tri-Valley.

My husband, Marcus, and I live in Garretson, SD, and have been married for six years. Marcus works for Stockwell Engineers in Sioux Falls as a Land Surveyor. In June of 2020, we welcomed our first daughter, Emily! She is walking, running, and climbing on everything! We have also loved watching her personality start to shine through her! Emily loves playing with our dogs, Mirra and Maverick. 
 
Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, go for walks, watch movies/Netflix, and
go on road trips when we can!
